- Forex Market Forecast Issue #61 - 7 Strategies To Handle Forex Volatilty
Welcome Everyone,
We are witnessing some of the most volatile and explosive moves in history this past week. And, not just in the stock market. Gold has had $100 moves, the forex markets which until recently generally only moved 80 -150 pips in a day are now doubling and tripling that and more. (…)

- Forex Market Forecast Issue #60 - The dangers of forming an opinion about the markets
Welcome Everyone,
I am constantly asked my opinions on a particular market, stock, commodity etc, In an effort to correctly pick the proper market direction, traders will do a lot of research including reading online forums, listening to the current market gurus and watching financial programs like CNBC. After they have absorbed all this info it will lead them to form an opinion. In my 18 years of trading I can tell you first hand that forming opinions can be hazardous to your account balance. Why? (…)

- Forex Market Forecast Issue #59 - Protective stop loss orders
Welcome Everyone,
Yet another crazy week in the markets as the US government was trying to deicide on how to bail out the current financial mess. Until the bailout plan is fully disclosed I would expect some more unexpected crazy market gyrations. In light of that you need to be extra careful and get out the minute things don't look or feel right. (…)

Welcome Everyone,
Wow, what a CRAZY week - talking about a meltdown in some of the markets! The volatility made for some great opportunities and HUGE profits assuming you were on the right side of the trade. Anyway…
One thing I want to talk about is assuming things in trading. I don't care how much of a "Market Wizard" you are and how great your technical analysis and research abilities are because…. When unexpected news hits the markets all your assumptions no matter how logical get thrown out the window. The reality is that when big news events rock the financial world you never know how things are going to shake out until the dust settles. (…)

Welcome Everyone,
We had a bit of a short covering rally on the pound and euro on Friday. More than likely it was caused by 2 factors. First, traders who have been riding the market down decided to cash out and secondly a lot of traders don't like to hold positions over the weekend. How far can this rally go? I would look for some selling pressure at my "Turning Point Down"(TPD) levels posted in this newsletter. The TPD #1 is the one to really pay attention to this week. (…)

Welcome Everyone,
The upward trend in the US based currencies that we follow continued last week. There were some great trading opportunities as the market had great momentum and follow through. I just received this email from a trader last night:"Hi Jeff,
I have been signed up for your TPD Forecast for only one week and am amazed how accurate it is. Today your figures made me over 50 pips profit on the GPD/USD ! (…)

Welcome Everyone,
Wow, what a difference a week can make. Both the euro/usd and gbp/usd smashed through previous major support levels. This should indicate a new downward trend in both currency pairs for awhile. For how long, there is no way to know but… For now the bias is down. Another thing I really like is we finally had some significant movement as the market has been very choppy most of the summer. (…)

Recently I mentioned in an email to all my subscribers about an Australian trader who was doing extremely well trading one of my programs.(30K-50K per day) Anyway, I have had a avalanche of emails asking me for some tips to why he is so successful.
Tip #1 He doesn't trade the Sunday opening session as he finds things too unpredictable and unsettled. He prefers to sit out the first trading day of the new week so that he can wait until the market has sorted itself out. The bottom-line is that this has raised his winning percentage way up. (…)

Welcome Everyone,
Before we get started, please note…
I have mentioned this before, but it bears repeating as I am constantly receiving emails about this. The TPU(Turning Point Up) and TPD(Turning Point Down) numbers I post each week are not a part of a system I teach. They are merely a tool to help you fine-tune your entries and exits. For example, say your system called for a buy in the USD/JPY and the trade was going really well and you were up 40 pips. You would probably be wondering how far you could ride the trade up before you would have to exit. (…)

Welcome Everyone,
The forex markets are really gaining some momentum again as we keep setting new highs in oil. Some sources say that if the oil prices can't be lowered soon, it will cause a global recession. Whether that will come to pass is hard to say, but in the meantime all we should be focusing on is trading opportunities.
